THE BERRIEN HOUSE - STATE HISTORICAL MARKER

The Berrien House is excited to announce the dedication of an official state historical marker.   Special thanks to Lynn Davis and the Colonial Dames of the XVII - Adam Brinson I who have been tireless supporters of the Berrien House and co-sponsored the sign with the Georgia Historical Society.

DECORATIVE ARTS TRUST - SPRING SYPOSIUM

In the spring we were invited to present at the Decorative Arts Trust - Spring Symposium in Savannah.   The talk entitled, "The Berrien House Portfolio: A Sprig, a Trellis & a President", was received with much enthusiasm and was followed by an extended tour of the house. Of particular interest was our discovery of fragments of 18th century newspaper from Philadelphia where the Decorative Arts Trust is based.
